Bradley Cooper’s food truck Danny & Coop’s is popping up around the East Village and the lines are apparently hours long. (This is not a new venture, Lainey wrote about it all the way back in 2023.)

You have to really track their Instagram to see when/where they will be. I love a cheesesteak but waiting hours in line seems excessive. Do you think there are people being paid to wait in line for others? I wouldn’t use that service but I don’t doubt influencers would.

Robbie Williams was on WWHL to talk about his biopic and his wife Ayda Field was the bartender. Andy Cohen mentioned that they’ve asked her to be on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills “five times” but Robbie does not want to do it. I don’t blame him. That show is simply to get famous, nothing else. And that fame is uncontrollable, you really do not know how the audience will react to a person.

It takes a certain type of personality to want that kind of attention and not many could do it. From that short appearance as a bartender, the Housewife fandom is already making all kinds of judgements around her and dug into a story a previous Housewife, Crystal Kung-Minkoff, told about a former close friend of hers who got super upset when she joined the show because the friend’s husband didn’t allow it. And it blew up their Beverly Hills friend group. Within minutes, the fandom figured this out and now Ayda is all over Twitter and she hasn’t even made a cameo on the show. That is the kind of attention you need to deal with. It’s unwieldy.

Speaking of Bravo fandoms, yesterday Sarah posted about the absolute nonsense bullsh-t story that A Simple Favor 2 is being shelved because of Blake Lively, when really it’s just going through a totally normal editing process. Low-level gossip from people who know nothing about the industry or how movies are made (they aren’t cut like TikToks) and you know who is a big pusher of anti-Blake stuff? Housewife accounts with HUGE platforms. The filings and allegations talk about a smear campaign but I think these people are doing it for free because they want the engagement, not because they care one way or another about anyone involved. It’s an easy way to get clicks. Paul posted this about another film he’s working on, The Housemaid. Michele Morrone, the next big thing. Or maybe already a thing?
