Katie Holmes hit up a Dave Matthews Band concert (with a paper ticket!) and, this will get me in trouble, but sometimes Katie seems to enjoy a summer fling. And the whole concert thing and her living in New York got me thinking… John Mayer. Do they ever cross paths?

Admit it, you are both disgusted and intrigued by this Gossip Genie pairing. (Lainey: Maria, this is genius!)

Who figured out that Nancy Cartwright (voice of Bart Simpson) is Sabrina Carpenter’s aunt??? Award them the Pulitzer!  And all the people getting upset about a nepo baby need to go back and read this because we are really starting to stretch that term too thin.

Now Michael Douglas bringing two of his kids to a movie premiere? That’s a nepo baby moment because it seems these kids are getting ready to launch as the next iteration of the Douglas family dynasty.

Every generation gets a Kennedy and Gen X had JFK Jr. and with that Carolyn Bessette who consistently served c-nt, day and night (the highest compliment possible). A style like no other and one that, if she hadn’t died so young and tragically, would have radically altered the fashion and pop culture ecosystem as we know it. Between the new JFK Jr. book that has been endlessly covered in PEOPLE and Vogue’s hard launch of Jack Schlossberg, it’s feeling very Martha’s Vineyard this month.

Blake Lively is touched by a “crown straightener” comment, which is a variation of “real queens fix other's crowns.” The full quote includes “And they don't tell the world it was crooked.” That part often gets left out.

Anyway, it’s very “throw pillow from 2012,” something that would be sold on Preserve. I would bet $100 that a Swiftie left that comment for her. I’m going to get in so much trouble for this. LOL.

I’m not picking on Severance in particular but the wait between seasons for streaming and premium cable shows is ridiculous. Yes, I realize there was a strike and yes, I realize they are not pumping out network TV half-hour series (which is still hard – look how many episodes Abbott Elementary manages) but I’m so curious about the audience retention numbers for these streaming series. Like once you lose them to time, how do you get them back?
