Another Friday, another afternoon of Bennifer watch. PEOPLE has a cryptic but interesting story that I think is a sign of defense for Jennifer. The sources assert that fame is not the driving factor here, which makes sense. It’s not like Ben Affleck doesn’t know! It’s been 20 years of them and this man is very, very famous. And he has been messy as hell multiple times and that has nothing to do with her. Much, much messier than her – JLo has never had a Chrissy O.

The “she’s too ambitious, she’s too famous” narrative doesn’t make sense this time around. The bad news is PEOPLE’s reporting is about “deeper issues.” We don’t know the specifics but that sounds ominous.

I can smell this picture and it’s musty AF.

Should really just DM this to Lainey but my algorithm is full of these crazy food hacks. Many of them are for outrage virality but this one – cheese coated in Dorito dust – is basically made for her.

OK I actually did not know this: Jason Segel and Kevin Hart were roommates?! I enjoy these types of anecdotes but it wasn’t as random as I had hoped – they lived together when working on a Judd Apatow pilot. But it is interesting that watching Jason and Seth Rogen is what inspired Kevin to write—and buy Final Draft. I feel like Duana would enjoy this story.

Doesn’t mention his name or age, just how long they’ve been together. Barbra Streisand you absolute legend.

Armie Hammer’s attempted comeback is focused on podcasts, which is an interesting medium. No big magazine profile (maybe GQ and Vanity Fair don’t want him). It definitely puts him at an advantage of telling a story with no real pushback. But what is Armie trying to come back to? He had buzz but was never top tier talent. He was already on the decline in terms of work.

Last week I went to see Inside Out 2 (my official review: it was cute) and I didn’t realize Mindy Kaling was replaced by Liza Lapira until I googled it after noticing Mindy didn’t mention the film at all. This is strange – why drop out of an animated movie that is not a heavy lift?

The reasonable explanation is that it overlapped with her new baby, so maybe she didn’t want to commit to the junket, in addition to her many projects. But to not mention it at all after raving about working on the first one. Seems a little odd, no?

Maybe it’s me, but I think the ads that place a celebrity in a regular job are weirdly condescending. Hahaha I’m wearing a uniform and not making a living wage, isn’t that hilarious!!! Slay.
