I’ve been mentioning Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham but things seem OK: he wore a hat with “Lola” on it – that’s the name of her film. He also posted about bringing her flowers.

Brooklyn has been traveling on what looks like an eating tour (shout-out to New Haven pizza) and doing work with Amazon. He also visited with earth angel Chef José Andrés and if a nepo baby wants to contribute boatloads of cash to World Central Kitchen, that would be lovely. And when I say “OK” it’s not code for anything shady– Nicola’s dog very suddenly passed away last week. She’s had a rough couple of months.

Time to humble myself and admit my wrongs: The Valley, which I thought would be a flop, is a gift! You know how a lot of reality TV shows are about young people who are full of hope, trying to make it big? Well The Valley is about what happens to those kids when they turn 40 and move to the suburbs to have children and mask their alcohol and marriage problems. It is so dark.

This TikTok by Birgit Marie (who has a whole channel about historical royal costumes on YouTube) is a month old but I’m posting because Bridgerton’s second half dropped and, um, I agree with her (ducks). I don’t need historical accuracy, I’m too much of a dumdum to know what’s Victorian and what’s Elizabethan.

But the stuff like acrylics is simply too obvious to ignore. It doesn’t take me out of it completely, but I do notice.

We are all on mega mansion watch as Bennifer attempts to sell their home. Selling these high-priced properties can take years. It took Mark Wahlberg a long time to sell his Beverly Hills mansion – after a $32 million dollar price cut. It ended up going for $55 million.

A24 is releasing a book about how directors dress while shooting – I am so into this. Of course James Cameron got in the water (and yes, he fit on the door). Vanity Fair has a first look.

Lainey mentioned the top story on PEOPLE (at the time of writing) is about the internet laughing at Justin Timberlake. Because he did something incredibly reckless, dangerous and selfish, his wife is under more scrutiny. PEOPLE reported she’s “not happy” about the ”distraction” (the source’s word, not mine) but she "will always be by his side." However, US Weekly uses slightly stronger language, with sources saying she’s “extremely upset” and “she was really worried about him.” If true, turns out her worry is justified (I swear that’s not a purposeful pun). There’s no indication that she’s fed up but, and I don’t say this facetiously, this seems like a turning point for Justin. Are you the 43-year-old getting DWIs or are you going to do something about WHY you got the DWI.
