Breaking (and I’m sure Stephanie will cover soon), Garcelle Beauvais announced she is leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Housewives very rarely quit but Bravo allows them to say they have quit.
I firmly believe she has chosen to leave; they would have 100% had her back if she wanted to stay. And I think she is one of the few women who have had the franchise work for HER – she parlayed the attention into different opportunities and expanded her reach as a producer. She never went low or messy, but had fun. This is the way to use the show before the show uses you: a few good seasons and bounce.
Oh I love these birthday tributes to Sarah Jessica Parker. She really is a sparkler.
Was Tracy Anderson being slightly petty with the “my actual kitchen” comment? Low-hanging fruit but also low stakes, so maybe yes. All celebrities are friends or all residents of Montecito are friends, but I think there’s a disinterest there on both sides. If GP and the Duchess wanted to meet, they could have made it happen by now.
I’ve been meaning to write about Shay Mitchell, who founded Beis (a luggage and travel accessory line). It is quickly growing in popularity and I could see this being the next big acquisition. Smart market to enter, not overly saturated.
But what really brought me here is her teeth. More specifically, her veneers. So many celebrities have veneers, and we know they have veneers, but it’s never spoken about. “Perfect” teeth are so common that we go bonkers for natural teeth when we see them (currently: Aimee Lou Wood, always: Kirsten Dunst). But the dental process is very rarely talked about, we are all supposed to pretend they haven’t had work done. But most of them have. Four root canals!
As Sarah noted last week, Apple is losing money on streaming and who cares, this is what multi-trillion dollar corporations should spend their money on. And it could be confirmation bias, but Apple really does seem to get the most actory of all the actors. Jessica Chastain and Adam Driver? The theatre troupe’s spring play is being sponsored by the robotics team and it works.
