My little baby Biebers are having a baby! Very adorable announcement and while she could have done it at the MET Gala, this is about them and not “the moment.” It’s pretty big news, with TMZ following up that she is 6 months along. I don’t want the pregnancy tracker or name guessing – hopefully they can enjoy the process in peace. Of course, one fandom isn’t being chill at all and their jokes are so boring. Like, the same joke over and over and it’s not even funny. To quote Demi Lovato, “Get a job! Leave her alone!”
I’m late on it but THIS SHOW. Wow. As much as streaming and the algorithm skews what types of shows are greenlit, I want to know who at Netflix crunched the numbers on this and said yes. Because they did something right.
The Hollywood Reporter has a splashy profile on Andy Cohen and was asked about his relationship with John Mayer, which is silly. Cohenheads know they’ve been friends with years, they vacation together, know each other’s families etc. If we are really lucky, we have these friends that are deeply woven into our lives. And John’s point is that the line of questioning is reductive. He’s right. No one asks Ben Affleck if he’s with Matt Damon. And no one questions Andy Cohen and Sarah Jessica Parker holding hands. It’s strictly about the gay man/straight man dynamic.
Kaia Gerber wore a simple gown to the MET Gala, which is kind of fine. Like sometimes you don’t want to turn up and turn out. This seems like the equivalent of a normal person wearing sneakers to dinner. Kaia is of course still modeling but her acting career is going fairly well too – Bottoms, American Horror Story and now Palm Royale. Although the genetics got her to modeling, she’s already surpassed her mom’s acting career.
Pamela Anderson switched it up for the MET Gala and wore makeup. For the occasion, she worked with Pat McGrath, who beyond being an A-list artist has a very successful makeup line. What I would love to know is how does Pat choose clients for the nights EVERYONE wants her (like the Oscars and Met Gala)? She can only be in so many places at once and it’s a pretty short window for a red carpet. I would love to know how she decides and if she brings the entire team – it looks like multiple people are doing the actual application.
