Tom Holland fans knew something was coming when he changed his profile picture: it’s a new non-alcoholic beer called Bero.

Non-alcoholic beverages is a growing sector and Tom is part of a generation that is choosing to drink less, so this makes sense.

Does it feel like the Kardashians’ pop culture temperature has dropped? It’s not that they are going away – they are never not going to be famous. But the celebrity ecosystem is always expanding and with that, sometimes power is watered down. They certainly feel less potent. Maybe that’s why the next generation is hard at work, with North West on the cover of Interview. I love the jumpsuit! But who is this for? Who is buying an Interview Magazine cover with North West? Who is interested in what a literal child has to say about culture? Not any adults I know and, living with two kids in this age range, no kids I know either.

This isn’t to say children can’t be creative; many nepo babies go on tour or have small jobs on set, learning about their family business. That’s learning a skill. North is learning to be famous, which I guess is aligned with the family business. Maybe it’s setting up for a clothing line launch; fashion certainly seems like the angle.

By the time you read this it will already pass, but this is a great idea for an event: dating app profile photos! Busy would also be really good at writing dating app profiles, which is a skill. Is there a secret society of ghost writers-for-hire that do this in competitive dating markets? Dream job.

John Mayer is geeking out over new guitar strings, as he should. That’s his trade. But interestingly, he also had this in his stories with a caption that said something like, “if I had a girlfriend, this is something I’d bore her with.” I mention this because there’s been some chatter about him and Kiernan Shipka and I don’t think they are together. I don’t think they’ve ever dated. Same with her and BJ. They are all part of a big LA/NYC friend group of artists, writers, producers, musicians, podcasters – general cool kids.

Liam Gallagher didn’t find the SNL skit about him and Noel funny, which I understand. To Liam, he is the funniest person in the world and no one could ever top his banter. With the Oasis shows getting closer, he has been tweeting at a very high rate, which makes me a little nervous. Because it seems like he is nervous.
