You know what’s interesting about Katie Holmes? She’s a Broadway actress but I don’t think of her as one and I don’t think I’m alone in this. She is always tied to Dawson’s Creek and Tom Cruise. Part of that is her purposefully dry persona; her interviews are an absolute snooze. She hasn’t said anything interesting in years. Obviously NDAs are a thing but beyond that, she is all about the platitudes and giving nothing, probably so outlets don’t assign subtext to her words.
But from a gossip perspective, I’d kill for a juicy Katie Holmes profile.
Shrinking’s second season just dropped and season three has already been announced. It’s not Ted Lasso viral or Severance prestigious, but I think this show checks a very specific box: half hour comedy. It’s like network TV with the occasional f-ck, which I think is what we truly want from streamers.
Speaking of Shrinking, Christa Miller was on WWHL and sat second chair; a Real Housewife was first chair. This is such an interesting dynamic because of the reality TV/Hollywood dynamic; Christa is mega-loaded and very well connected and she’s sitting next to someone on the most boring Housewives franchise (don’t @ me, it’s true).
Is WWHL where egos are set aside?

Wait, Sophia Bush is just now joining Grey’s Anatomy? In its 21st season? I thought maybe she was reprising a role, not starting from scratch. That’s some optimism. Or she wants to redo her kitchen or something, which is understandable.
