Nicole Richie is an unapologetic birthday person. She’s the friend who has a “birthday month.” The one in the group chat reminding everyone that her birthday is coming up in six months. (Lainey: It’s my birthday in 10 days.)
This on-and-off couple had my full attention on Emmys Sunday. Are they or aren’t they? Married or split? Yes, I’m talking about Danny DeVito and Rhea Pearlman, who showed up on the red carpet together and said hello to fans, like Jenna Ortega who got a moment with both of them.
There was a time when Cameo was the hottest celebrity platform; people love the niche of “personalized celebrity greetings” and a few stars emerged, like Brian Baumgartner from The Office (a top performer; at one point he was reportedly drawing $1 million a year). That’s a big number for relatively inexpensive transactions.
Has that kind of engagement moved to OnlyFans? It seems like every day I’m reading about how celebs are making bank (Denise Richards claims to pull in $2 million a month). And that’s without being able to cross-promote it on other sites like Instagram. Celebrities are not a great example of an average OnlyFans content creator because they obviously have name recognition going for them, but this Business Insider story breaks down how much a person can make. And there’s also a whole OnlyFans cottage industry including business coaches, ‘shoutouts’ (sponsored content), a tip jar etc. I know of one agency who works exclusively with OnlyFans content creators and the founder once worked at CAA. I guess my question is, how long until agencies have an OnlyFans department? And more to that: do content creators need representation when they are already so good at marketing themselves?
Of course Mariah Carey climbed the Great Wall of China in heels – is she supposed to wear ON sneakers like the rest of us mortal slobs? That would be dreadful.
At the Great Wall of China! Someone should’ve warned me about heels 👠 (not that I would’ve listened) pic.twitter.com/EAccJ2wtNt

I know Ayo Edebiri and Jeremy Allen White had a bit of a will-they-won’t-they real-life flirtation, very Moonlighting. But my focus is in her comment section because that is where Michael B. Jordan has parked himself. There’s not a post that goes by without a fire emoji, but dare we even Gossip Genie this? Too late! Ayo and Kaia Gerber are good friends; Kaia is dating Austin Butler. Not only do I already have Ayo and Michael dating, I have them double-dating.
Lainey covered the Bennifer of it all this morning and you know what really caught my attention? Ben is drinking a Coke, but it’s not a Diet Coke. I’m not familiar enough with the American cans to know if it’s regular Coke or sugar-free, but Diet Coke is very distinct in both taste and packaging. This led me down a rabbit hole of Ben’s soda choices and did you know this man has both a Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi fountain in his office? I’m not saying he has no loyalty, but pick a lane Ben! In more soda news, Judd Apatow is set to direct the Cola Wars movie. I don’t like him. I don’t know why exactly. Well that’s not entirely true: I think he’s a smug ahole.
