Netflix is all-in on celebrity documentaries (I’m guessing they are cheap to produce) and next up is Charlie Sheen. He’s definitely a Hollywood fixture but I feel like we know a lot about Charlie Sheen because he talked us through a lot of what was happening during the highs and lows.

That said! He’s a storyteller, he is an orator. He loves talking about his own legend. And they interview his former dealer, so I appreciate the thoroughness.

Had to wake up this morning and put my readers on to sort out the issues between Lana Del Rey and Ethel Cain. Thank goodness for Vulture, who breaks it down in detail. This is a feud truly borne of social media: a song that mentions Instagram, a block, a comment from Lana on Pop Base (an aggregator account). So much angst, it’s wonderful. Let the artists have their big feelings!

Kevin Hart posted an anniversary tribute to his wife Eniko and she commented, “these photos remind me of how much we’re literally growing old together. we were kids! 🤭🥰 happy anniversary babe!” He was married and had two children when they met. Not exactly a kid.

Me when Oasis finally makes it to Vancouver.

Jerry Bruckheimer is floating the idea of a sixth Pirates of the Caribbean movie with Johnny Depp. I think this will happen in the next couple of years. It is what Johnny has been building up to, with a mix of carefully planned interviews and laying low. Via EW, “If he likes the way the part's written, I think he would do it," Bruckheimer says. "It's all about what's on the page, as we all know." They are couching the sixth film on the artistic merit of Johnny Depp, like that’s what’s been holding them back all these years. Quite the rewrite.

Michelle Yeoh celebrated her birthday last week with not one but two frightening cakes. And flowers. All the flowers!
