The mullet dress is a thing now. Will it take? I dunno, personally, if I’ll be taking. I’m too short. But it’s been showing up more and more often on carpets. It showed up in stripes all over Chelsea Handler last night.

I don’t know that it’s the dress that’s the problem. The dress might actually work on someone else. But not Chelsea. And not styled the way she’s been styled. Those shoes for example, good shoes on their own, are totally wrong for this occasion. It makes everything so ...heavy, right? Heavy and clunky + stripes? Typically, unless you’re a model, you want to avoid that equation.
