Lightyear opens next Friday, the latest in a series of summer blockbusters after Top Gun: Maverick’s two week domination and Jurassic World: Dominion opening this Friday. Very interested to see just how big these movies will be at the box office.
Until then…let’s just talk about the style vibes Chris Evans has been bringing to the Lightyear press tour. Last night was the premiere and he showed up in shades and a GREAT summer sweater. It’s a simple polo cut but the print and the colours make it special. And Chris was feeling it too because he posted about it on Instagram. Like the whole point of the post was his look.
So much better than a standard suit situation that movie star men typically work on a red carpet, right? But we’ve seen Chris flexing a lot more style personality over the last couple of years. I also really liked the Missoni fit he wore to Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week:
But what I like most right now is the hair. The height and light right now on the hair! It’s the lightest he’s had his hair in a while, non? Compare it to how it was a few weeks ago when he was still shooting Ghosted with Ana de Armas:
The hair is big summer energy. Hot summer energy. Am very into the Chris Evans aesthetic right now – especially the strategy of it. He’s not only promoting Lightyear, he’ll soon be promoting The Gray Man with Ryan Gosling. Put you best look out there when you’re selling your projects, it’s part of the work, and it applies to everyone, not just women but men too.
