Jenny Packham’s new collection is definitely red carpet, as the Fug Girls say, and it’s almost a wistful set of dresses, as if to say… let’s bring back these glittery, feathery dresses and sequins and prettiness. Not sure when we’re going to see this in play. This line is a favourite of Kate of House of Cambridge. And I could see several of these looks on her. (Go Fug Yourself)

When was the Friends reunion originally supposed to happen? Almost a year ago, right? Am I just making that up? What is time anymore? Anyway, a lot of people have been waiting for it, and it’s now getting closer. David Schwimmer has confirmed they’re going into production next month. I thought it was an one-hour one-time thing where they’d all just gather and reminisce. They way they’re talking about it here makes it seem like it’ll be more involved, with more produced elements. Like a new show opening? Curious to see who the host will be. Doesn’t sound like it’s going to be any of the usual suspects. (Dlisted)

Martin Scorsese is just like us… I guess. He has some questions about streaming algorithms and how streaming services like Netflix could do a better job of curating content and their recommendations. I don’t disagree. I see his point but also, my Netflix algorithm right now is pretty much only Asian dramas, an accurate reflection of how I spend my time. I live in fear of anyone exposing how many times I’ve watched and rewound my favourite kissing scenes. (Cele|bitchy)

Um, I’m sorry…what? First of all, I don’t think I’ll ever stop being surprised about how much disposable income some people have. Like enough to spend this much money on a video clip of a cartoon that features Donald Trump naked? Still trying to wrap my head around this story. Not sure if it’s because I’m tired or because I’m just not with it enough to understand how any of this works. (Pajiba)

LOVE this piece by Danny Schwartz on the 15th anniversary of Dave Chappelle’s Block Party. I think I might watch it again this weekend. If I can tear myself away from my Asian dramas. (The Ringer)
