Book Club was a surprisingly charming movie, and I was hoping the sequel, Book Club: The Next Chapter would be a kind of Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again surprise in which the sequel is at least as fun and entertaining as the original film, but alas, it is not. Still, I am glad to see Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen, Jane Fonda, and Candice Bergen reunited once again.

Here they are yesterday at the New York premiere of The Next Chapter (along with co-star Don Johnson). They’re all dressed for a different event, and I love the low-level chaos of the looks. Everyone interpreted “daytime premiere” differently, and Candice Bergen is full of shady looks for the antics of her peers.

Mary, Candice, and Jane also stopped by Sirius XM to see Andy Cohen. Does that man ever sleep? He has a radio show, a talk show, he hosts those Real Housewives wrestlemanias—when does this man rest? I am digging Mary’s press tour style, first the embroidered jacket at Sirius, then the colorful dress at the premiere. Also, she brought Ted Danson to the premiere, it is genuinely heartwarming that they are still together and look so happy. THEY should star in a rom-com! A new one, that is. Pontiac Moon is nearly thirty years old.
