In her Celebrity Social Media column today, Maria mentioned Rihanna’s reaction to Jonathan Anderson’s first haute couture collection as creative director for Dior. And it’s not just Rihanna, the fashion community is losing its mind, as they should.

I know I’m partial to Jonathan Anderson but this collection was dementedly beautiful. Look at this wedding dress.

Those bloom earrings were all over the runway, I am obsessed. Like…howww…can you not be gasping for air over these looks?

Please, someone, anyone, let us see this at the upcoming award shows, these are so outrageously first class, I can barely speak. Especially the pieces in this carousel, JFC.

There were several celebrities, in addition to Rihanna, at Dior, including one of Jonathan’s muses, Greta Lee, now a house ambassador. As creative director for the entire house, Jonathan is responsible for something like ten collections a year, so before haute couture, there was also menswear. Greta showed up for the couture show in a look #2 from the menswear runway – a green sequin tank over white jeans. Iconic. Vogue was with her during her trip to Paris and she talked about getting an advance preview with Jonathan the day before, that’s how close they are.

It’s making me crazy that unfortunately there aren’t too many photos of Greta with our photo agencies from the show, and they all had access. The Dior show was a hot ticket, but these photographers don’t know what’s good.

What else happened today…

Katie Holmes in a sweater that may or may not be spon-con. There’s something about the colours in this sweater that isn’t quite landing for me, they’re not the right combinations and shades for this pattern. In a stripe though? Absolutely. (Go Fug Yourself)

I totally forgot that a new season of Ted Lasso is coming this summer. We’re now getting more details about where they’re going and who’s coming back, plus production photos. I loved Ted Lasso in seasons one and two. I don’t think about season three and also don’t miss it. Will that change when it returns? (Pajiba)

Olympian Gus Kenworthy talks about Heated Rivalry, what it means to him, and how he relates to it. Also Miley Cyrus was his Rose Landry… which is a flex! (Out)

There’s another professional athlete who is a Heated Rivalry fan: Coco Gauff. She smashed her racket in the tunnel after the match. And of course she’s being criticised for it, much more than the male players who do the same, or worse. As Chelsea Hui points out, the double standard is so gross, on top of the fact that as a Black female athlete, Coco, like Serena and Naomi before her, gets it so much worse. (Mamamia)

Nope, not done talking about Heated Rivalry yet. Because there’s news about the fleece. If you don’t know, a quick explanation: Shane Hollander wears a Team Canada Olympic fleece in episode two from the Sochi Winter Games but this was not official Team Canada gear. The fleece was made by costume designer Hanna Pulli and it went viral when the show aired. People like it more than the actual Olympic jackets that we’re seeing on Canadian athletes competing in the upcoming Olympics in Italy. Today it was announced that the show creators have partnered with Province of Canada to release the fleece. This is a pretty well-known Canadian brand, quality products. Not on sale yet but I’m sure they’re trying to make it happen as soon as possible and in time for the Olympic hype. (Province of Canada)
