Dita Von Teese has her own strictly observed aesthetic. I get it. So much of her image is associated with and tied to what she looks like. In Dita Von Teese’s mind, Dita can never be seen without makeup, without being completely prepared. But it’s not always practical, especially not at Coachella. So for Dita it’s about modification: how do you apply the Dita Von Teese to the outdoor music festival?
Here’s Dita on three occasions this weekend and I love them all, especially the black and white gingham dress paired with sparkly rainbow flats. We’re heading for Cannes in 3 weeks. This is perfect for the Croisette, in the afternoon, on the search for “fresh” strawberries which they sell at food stands on every block.
