Julianne Moore is showing off her new digs in NYC, moving to a high-rise after living in a townhouse for 25 years.
Any time there’s a big real estate move like this it brings up the questions…. she’s been married a very long time and her husband is not mentioned in the pull quotes. But there’s a little more to it here, because the new house was designed by her husband’s brother’s firm.
This is a top-tier jump scare because Amanda Seyfried’s daughter (I think?) was patient, she didn’t rush up behind her and it really paid off.
Let’s be tacky and talk money for a second – how much do you think Eva Longoria got for posting about the Ritz in New York City? It’s not tagged as sponcon but she has close to 11 million followers and owns multiple brands, so she’s not just posting for fun. This hotel averages about $2k a night, so a free stay? Or extra rooms for her team?
The coverage of Victoria Beckham’s fashion show in the UK has been about Brooklyn and Nicola skipping it (why would they go if they are estranged?) but I’m more interested in why Anna Wintour didn’t attend. She’s been a pretty consistent front row attendee in the past.
Ariana Grande wrapped her tour last month and is on hiatus from touring, but is still promoting R.E.M., the beauty line she founded in 2021. When the parent company filed for bankruptcy in 2023, she purchased it in full and is now an independent owner, which is pretty rare in this space. In Canada, there’s been tons of social media and beauty forum posts about finding R.E.M. in dollar stores. I have no idea if this is authenticated or not, but this would be an interesting case study. “Dollar stores” in North America are retail giants and attract a wide economic demographic. But they aren’t prestigious and brands don’t want to align with that. The first celebrity brand to put retail snobbery aside and purposefully tap into that market with a partnership or exclusive line will make a fortune.
