Drake must have had a hard time sleeping last night. Because at around 5am ET, and he’s been in Toronto since the start of isolation, he decided it was time to introduce us to his son, Adonis. And he included a photo of Adonis’s mother, Sophie Brussaux.
It would seem, from his caption, that Drake and Adonis are not SD-ing together and that’s presumably why Drake was in his feelings as he was flipping through his phone, looking at photos. He misses his child. It’s probably the one way we all relate to Drake right now: many of us have gone weeks without seeing our parents, our family, our friends, our loved ones. Not even Drake, with his many assets, can get around that one.
Adonis, it’s thought, is now about two and a half years old. Though I’m not a parent, even I know, at this age, they change every day. So a three week absence must be like six months. Drake, clearly, is trying to stay positive – and busy, or as busy as possible given the restrictions.
This weekend, once again, he was on DJ Spade’s Instagram Live. Last week, during Spade’s IG party, you’ll recall, he and Rihanna had a flirty exchange. Rihanna also returned to Spade’s IG. This time she engaged with Kevin Durant. And Drake tried to get in on their back and forth but she wasn’t in the mood for him, LOL.
Rihanna did, however, confirm to KD where she’s SD-ing: “Been in your dump ass cuntry (sic) last two months”.
In other news, yesterday marked the 13th anniversary of Rihanna’s smash hit “Umbrella”.

She meant it, too. Rihanna’s pledged $5 million for COVID-19 relief through her foundation and she donated medical supplies last week to assist healthcare efforts in New York.
To go back to Drake, did you see the Instagram post that went up yesterday before he gave us that first look at Adonis? His plane, which was already HIS OWN PLANE, got a glow-up. And not just any glow-up, but VIRGIL ABLOH redesigned it.
