Steve Carell is back on TV in Rooster and the early reviews are mid. Phil Dunster is also in it; he is not set to return for season four of Ted Lasso but these shows share a DNA – Bill Lawrence co-created Ted Lasso and Rooster. Brett Goldstein showed up to the premiere (he co-created Shrinking with Bill Lawrence and Jason Segel), so there’s overlap all around.

Phil’s wife Ellie Heydon is reportedly directing episodes of Ted Lasso. A cameo is definitely on the table and it would make sense beyond nostalgia because they didn’t really wrap about the Jamie-Keeley-Roy throuple.

The Pink/Carey Hart split story died pretty quickly but I’m still very interested in how so many outlets got it wrong. Page Six is reporting that the story didn’t sprout from nowhere, but it was premature. So, someone sold them out (maybe someone on their team, considering it went to PEOPLE). Carey Hart hasn’t directly addressed but he was in New York with Pink when she guest-hosted for Kelly Clarkson.

Great skin, intimidating women.

Ok everywhere I go I’m hearing about Hyrox – is it the new CrossFit? Patrick Wilson is 52 and fitttttttt.

I wonder how the cast of The White Lotus – all three seasons – feels watching the Heated Rivalry explosion. A lot of the actors have gone through a version of that, not as intense as what Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams are going through, but a definite turbo boost of fame. Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodhall are the only actors who have publicly coupled up and last week she commented on one of his posts, so they are probably still together.

I really don’t have much to add to the François Arnoud and Hudson Williams joint post about hateful comments. Unfortunately, the people it needs to reach will never believe it applies to them. When a section of a fandom acts like this, anything and everything fuels their delusion.
