Not sure that a 13 year old needs to be at these kinds of events or that she needs to be the face of Marc Jacobs. It’s unnecessary acceleration. At that age, they already want to be grown up so badly. And this, this gives them an artificial sense of maturation. Whatever. I know nothing.
I suppose though, given that it’s a reality now that 13 year old actors are present in places where Harvey Weinstein’s cutting deals and negotiating It Girls, that I can get down with what Elle Fanning wore last night to the Hollywood Awards. Better a medieval virgin than whatever it is that Chloe Moretz is selling right now.
