Carpets & Candids: Emma Stone Glamour Woman of the Year

Didn’t love the look at first. I think it’s the colour of the dress along with the bronziness of the makeup in combination with her red hair...it took some getting used to for me. But here’s what I do love about Emma Stone on a red carpet: she’s not afraid to try different lengths and shapes and colours and aesthetics. At just 23 years old, she doesn’t have to be married to style mold...which has kinda been Kristen Stewart’s problem, for example, the way she approaches getting dressed up. Stewart looks great most of the time, of course, of course, of course. But it’s almost always the same length and the same fit, right? Emma on the other hand, she mixes it up, with imagination. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but you can never box her into a short strapless dress with Brian Atwood heels, either, you know?
