Giddy’up girls. New stills of Joaquin from We Own the Night co-starring Eva Mendes (I hear it’s pronounced AVA? True?) due out Fall 2007. We Own the Night reunites Joaquin with Mark Wahlberg with whom he worked on The Yards, both films written and directed by James Gray. Have you seen The Yards? Joaquin plays off type – VERY sexy - but I can’t stomach multiple viewings. Not because of him but because of Mark and Charlize Theron. They play cousins with an inappropriate relationship. And yes. It FEELs creepy. As for Joaquin, no further details about the aftermath ofhis crustiness the other day with a photographer, although general consensus seems to be that he’s in good spirits, happily involved with that intriguing-looking woman with the fantastic nose, on a bit of a break before his next project so it’s not known what set him off that night…aside from the fact that he was, like, totally forced to be out in public, mingling with Hollywood-types instead of sitting at home smoking cigarettes and brooding in a dark room.
