Our site manager, Emily, has used a fashion shot of Sarah Jessica Parker filming And Just Like That as the feature for this post so that those who don’t want the spoilers can peace out before they’re spoiled from the shots below…

We might as well start with the fashion too – SJP was seen in an Indian outfit yesterday, stepping out of Carrie Bradshaw’s townhouse. According to the internet, the designer is Falguni and Shane Peacock India whose work was recently seen on philanthropist Sudha Reddy at the Met Gala:

For another scene, however, SJP was photographed in a pink gingham dress, a headscarf, and a pair of rubber gloves – which is not very Carrie:

Tom and Lorenzo have speculated that some of these fits are decoys for the paps, so as to save the real Carrie fashion for when the show airs. It’s a good theory but even if that were to be the case, I don’t know that it makes me more excited about Carrie’s style in the new series – and it’s OK, SJP and Carrie Bradshaw had their style run in the late 90s, and the legacy of those looks is undeniable. Nobody has to go into this expecting that to be repeated.

Now to the spoiler part…

There have already been reports that even though Chris Noth will be part of And Just Like That, Carrie and Big are divorced. And SJP was also papped in character yesterday kissing Jon Tenney suggesting that Carrie is indeed moving on from her marriage.

This scene was written to be shot outside though, and production is well aware of the presence of paparazzi. So I don’t think they’re too bothered by people seeing this, either to heighten anticipation or, again, to throw people off of the real story. Because if they really wanted to conceal this scene, it could have easily been written to take place indoors.

Does it make you more curious? Are you super jacked for it? And Just Like That is premiering on HBO Max in December.
