Am home in Vancouver now, finally had a chance to watch the Game of Thrones season finale. SPOILER ALERT......................

As expected, the Khaleesi must go on without Khal Drogo. It was inevitable. There’s no way for that character to move on with him there. She would not have fulfilled her True Dragon Destiny. What a badass image to end on, right? What a long, long, LONG time we have to wait.

My favourite scene was the one between Littlefinger and Varys. Imagine if we all spoke to each other like that at work? There’s a freedom to it, I think. Feelings and sensitivity only get in the way of a good scheme. Also very much enjoyed the evolution of Sansa’s story. She thought her king was Justin Bieber and he turned out to be Chris Brown. I will be so happy to see that goddamn Joffrey die. He will die soon. Again, with a character like Joffrey, who is so one dimensional, it’s hard to move a story forward. He’s dumb and he’s cruel. It shouldn’t be hard to get rid of him.

I often wonder what it’s like to be his parents. Or his girlfriend. Your son looks like he’s inbred which is why he’s perfect for the role. Congratulations.

I guess then the final episode wasn’t so much for action as it was for set-up for next season, like a coming down of sorts after the previous one, when stupid heroic Ned lost his head. I really can’t stand his wife too. Can someone please slap her in the face and remind her this mess is her fault for hastily capturing the Imp without a proper plan?

This is the downside of an HBO series. With so few episodes, the time between seasons is ridiculous.

Until then, I guess we have Comic-Con. Jason Momoa will be at Comic-Con for both Game of Thrones and for Conan. Big men usually don’t look this great in clothes. He is so hot it’s almost too much.
