Gabrielle Union continues to promote Goat, which opens next Friday. A word on this movie – I haven’t seen it so this is not about the quality of the film, but rather the release date, LOL. I mean I know that movie people want to get their movies out as soon as they can but, like, next year is actually the Year of the Goat. Think about the Chinese box office and what a difference that could have made.

Anyway, back to Gabby and the reason for this post…

One of her outfits yesterday ranks in my favourites of the year so far, it is SO GOOD. In my previous post about Margot Robbie today I mentioned that the Dior by Galliano from 1992 was a great pull by Andrew Mukamal. But this Miu Miu from 2011 is also a really f-cking great pull by Gabby’s stylist Thomas Christos, holy sh-t.

A blazer cardigan dress with looped pockets, cut boxy, with a built-in shirt collar that looks like it’s double layered – this is a classic, she looks amazing. And there’s no point in finding dupes because it’s archival and special and we might have to wait a few months before the copycats get to it, and they should because you can’t find better inspiration.

What else happened today…

Well I’ll tell you what happened last night – Penny the Doberman was named Best in Show, and she’s the latest Canadian to be making headlines around the world. I’m not going to say that Canada is having a moment because moments can be fleeting but our movement right now is pretty much just hit after hit after hit after hit after hit. That said, Penny really is a beauty queen. Look at this bitch serving c-nt in every single of one of these shots. (CTV News)

Lisa Rinna opened a fashion show and there’s similar DNA between her style and Lauren Sánchez Bezos but the difference is that Lisa can elevate and somehow Lauren… well… it wouldn’t have the same effect if she were on the runway but I’m sure her husband will end up buying one for her. (Go Fug Yourself)

Literally writing this after interviewing Jennifer Garner for season two of The Last Thing He Told Me and I was just talking to her and her BFF Judy Greer about fighting and how she doesn’t mess around and now I’m reading about her biting someone’s ear. She’s soft… until she’s not. F-ck around find out. (Pajiba)

The Olympics will be the biggest television show for the next two weeks starting on Friday. I can’t wait for the figure skating and the women’s hockey and the demented speed skating and also snowboarding (Chloe Kim!) I love it so much. Plus Eileen Gu, am obsessed with her. Here’s Katie Baker with her “superlative guide” to the Winter Games. (The Ringer)

Luther Vandross is trending after the Grammys so here’s an essential Luther playlist. (The Root)

Stephen Spielberg won a Grammy – he’s the latest EGOT. (Celebitchy)
