Maria mentions Derek Blasberg often in her Celebrity Social Media posts. He’s the Truman Capote of our time – only there’s no way he’ll sabotage his celebrity friendships with a barely-veiled story outing all their secrets. Derek celebrated his birthday a couple of days ago. And Gwyneth Paltrow and Dakota Johnson gifted him with the first photo of them together:
That’s a pretty good birthday present, non? What could mean more in that world – in any world these days – than a social media exclusive? It certainly adds to Derek’s reputation. And note the caption: he knows exactly what he’s doing, he knows exactly what it means, he knows the gossip, he’s nodding to the gossip.
Is this a surprise though? That G and Dakota get along? They spend holidays together – Gwyneth with Brad Falchuk and Dakota with Chris Martin. The whole G brand is about how she does it better, everything, from clothing to cooking to divorcing to friending.
As you can see, G’s wearing the outfit she had on at the Avengers: Endgame premiere the other night. So she made another stop after the event – as if she would sit through the 3 hour and 2 minute movie with hundreds, maybe more, of non-famous people. As if any of them did. G’s son Moses probably did though as it looked like he was there with his friends even though she says she told her kids the ending and wasn’t worried about them spoiling it because they’re the best secret-keepers. GREAT. Now Apple and Moses have another thing to lord over us. But heads up to Tom Holland: even G’s kids can keep secrets better than you!
