The premiere was this afternoon, here's Hilary Swank on the carpet promoting what they're all calling her next Oscar nominated role. Again!
The buzz around this performance is big. I haven't seen it because I covered Les Petits Mouchoirs (Little White Lies) today but early speculation is that when they call the 5 names in the running for Best Actress in January, Swank is supposed to be a lock for her role in a true story about a woman defending her brother who's been convicted of murder. The trailer is below. As you can see, she's bringing her goods.
Another Swank/Bening showdown - why does it always shake out in the same year? The universe loves drama. And then you throw in some Natalie Portman and this time, in all categories, it's shaping up to be a collossal bitchfight.
