Rumours started circulating a few weeks ago that Lady Gaga would make an appearance in The Devil Wears Prada 2. As we’ve seen, production on the movie has moved to Milan and we’ve seen the cast at Milan Fashion Week and continuing to shoot even after fashion week was over.

Gaga was photographed today in Milan, and what makes this even more notable is that she just performed the second of two shows last night in Manchester as part The Mayhem Ball. And she doesn’t have a lot of time. Gaga’s next concert is on Sunday 12 October in Sweden for three nights so she must have wrapped up the performance and got on the PJ right away to make it to Italy to film.

Gaga and Prada (the movie) make all the sense. “Walk, walk, fashion, baby. Work it, move that bitch crazy.” It’ll be interesting to see how they wrote her in because there are so many possibilities. But perhaps safe to say that it won’t be the Met Gala (or the movie’s equivalent of it) since they’ve already filmed it and it’s in New York. “Father, son, and House of Gucci” though. Gucci is, after all, based in Milan.

This is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2026. I can’t wait for the press tour, the fashion on the red carpets, the full catalogue of fashion in the movie, and of course what it sounds like because there’s also been speculation that Gaga will be on the soundtrack.

What else happened today…

Tyra Banks is trying to make something called hot ice cream happen. As many have pointed out, this makes no f-cking sense. And also, I have never microwaved my ice cream, what? Do you do this? And if so could you please tell me why, because if my ice cream gets too melted, I don’t want it anymore so the microwaving of the ice cream, or whatever “hot ice cream” is makes no sense to me. (Pajiba)

Wake Up Dead Man but also wake up gossips! Because Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz just made an appearance at the film’s BFI London premiere and we haven’t seen our parents in forever! (GoFugYourself)

Remember the Dune popcorn bucket and how disturbing it was? Sarah just posted the review for Tron: Ares and I totally agree with her, it’s a great looking and super fun movie. And if you go to see it, it might come with its own popcorn bucket which is the light cycle. Definitely not disturbing. Actually kind of cool? (The Mary Sue)

I know SJP’s Iris van Herpen last night was supposed to be a statement but, I’m sorry, I don’t think it’s working on her. I don’t think she can pull it off, and that’s a crazy thing to say about someone who has pulled off some crazy fashion but it might be the boring hair and shoes? (Celebitchy)

Charli xcx’s film, releasing next year, features a lot of It Girls. A teaser dropped today and I know I’m old because I could not f-cking stand to look at it, all that aggressive flashing and switching, it just made me angry. (Nylon)
