Intro for October 15, 2015

Dear Gossips,

As a Canadian, Celine Dion is important to me. Some Canadians will claim that they’re too cool for Celine. I don’t even understand what that means. Since Celine is so essential to my national identity, this is what I’m tripping on today.

That’s Rene Charles!

Taller than his mother and so clearly not a child anymore and how old am I?!?!?

Like many French Canadian boys, Rene Charles is into hockey and the Montreal Canadiens. Celine Dion is a hockey mom. And her kid looks like he has a normal(ish) life. Also she went to Disney yesterday with the twins, Eddy and Nelson. They wore matching t-shirts and all three of them had on the same Chucks. I’m sorry if this update was more exciting for me than it was for you. I’m also excited about other Canadian things but I’m such a jinx it’s probably best that I don’t say sh-t.
