Dear Gossips,

The Master and Argo solidified contender status at TIFF, and in particular, The Master’s record-breaking limited-release box office this weekend should guarantee the film’s nominations. A surprise qualifier emerging out of Toronto however is The Silver Linings Playbook, announced as the festival’s Blackberry People’s Choice Award, in recent years a harbinger for Best Picture. But what an impressive resumé Jennifer Lawrence is building, non? 

Am back in Vancouver and blog sched is back to normal. Also it’s London Fashion Week. New collections have been posted to LifeStyle with my commentary and I’ll keep adding to it through the day. Jesus is it the Emmys on Sunday? I feel like it will continue at this relentless pace all the way to February 24, 2013.
