It's Nobody Wants This week. Big expectations. Huge. The sophomore slump is real. We don’t talk about season two of Friday Night Lights in my house.

Trying to explain “6-7” to people who have not heard that phrase is a crazy-making endeavour. Imagine being one of the greatest SNL cast members of all time and your kids are cracking up over “6-7.” Parenting is really humbling.

Kate Hudson is working on new music and I think a Christmas song is a good idea. Christmas music is its own genre so while you might not seek out a Kate Hudson song in a holiday playlist you wouldn’t skip it. Kate was recently at the Academy Museum Gala and wore a great yellow Stella McCartney dress. She owns this colour, no question.

Uncle Jesse has a lot to say about Aunt Becky’s husband. She definitely took the bigger hit for Varsity Blues because of her name but I don’t think John’s ire is just about that. He has known Lori Loughlin for decades and the Full House cast is super tight. Maybe John thought this guy was a prick for years but couldn’t say it.

But you know that feeling when your friend finally ends it with someone you didn’t like and you get to tell them all the ways he or she was a loser, a list you have been cataloguing for years? That’s amore. (Oh and Lori should do Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it is a haven for divorced women.)

Lukas Gage has entered the celebrity memoir pool a little early (he’s not exactly a household name yet) but he is coming in hot with one of the best-titled memoirs. I would put it up there with Jennette McCurdy’s I’m Glad My Mom Died if we are judging a book by its cover.

Will Sharpe doesn’t have Instagram (smart as a personal choice, rude to me personally) so I’m a little behind on him playing Amadeus. I am extremely curious about this.

We know there’s too much TV but if there’s any sign of how quickly streaming shows go from the hottest thing ever to “oh ya I need to catch up on that” it’s Only Murders in the Building. Is it me, or is no one talking about this show anymore?
