She arrived early and she made an early splash. I don’t think the photos do her justice either. You had to see this dress up close. You had to see her from all angles…especially the black and blue combination, ordinarily an unacceptable bruise but on Maggie tonight, it was unf*cking believable. A band of black feathers at the bottom of the skirt, they caught the light from every photograph and I loved her quirky touch with the hairpiece, an old school glamour vibe – it was exactly the right note for exactly the right person. And in person? She’s much more attractive than you think. As for the body language…yes, they are totally in love. You"d have to be blind not to see it: Peter Sarsgaard adores her.
