This is Jake Gyllenhaal after lunch yesterday. He was with Taylor Swift last week, they celebrated her birthday, then she returned to Nashville and he’s been on his own, was on his own for the Golden Globe nominations yesterday. He received one for Love & Other Drugs. Disagree. But then again, as I’ve been bitching about for two days now, his was not the most egregious consideration.
USA Today talked to Jakey after he heard about the nomination. And, clever them, they asked if he’ll be bringing a date to the awards:
"Dude, I didn't think I was getting nominated. It's going to be a long, slow burn for me. I'm not rushing into anything!"
Did he tell Swifty that? Because she’s already picking out her wedding dress. And the wedding colour is Peach.
