And so it should be. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that ABC has given the greenlight to a Grey’s Anatomy spin-off centering around Kate Walsh/Addison Montgomery. Because she is totally her own show. Because we could ALL use more Addison. Because this is a woman who joined at the worst time, who was introduced as the huge obstacle, the evil ex, and who managed to make us love her – with the help of the writers, of course but still…no small feat. ABC has yet to comment but given that Kate’s star is rising so rapidly, it wouldn’t be surprising. Also not surprising if Ellen Pompeo is seething with jealousy. Interesting to see then how Grey’s would shift with Addison’s departure. And would Karev shift with her? Probably not. But damn those two are The Hotness. Oh – and tomorrow… Please, please, please make it goodbye Meredith. Please, please, please no weak ass sh-t with the mother dying instead. And please, please, please kill McDreamy too. Doubtful but if it happens … remember – I’ll say nice things about Jennifer Aniston for six whole weeks.
