Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis have a double date in coordinated outfits with Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid

Just over a month ago, Jennifer Aniston’s love life made its return to gossip when she went on holiday with Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka accompanied by her new plus one, hypnotist Jim Curtis. Since then she and Jim went on another double with Jason and Amanda in New York although they weren’t photographed at the time in the same frame.

We now have our first good quality shot of Jen and Jim together on yet another double last night at Nobu in Malibu – but still not on their own. This time it was with Courteney Cox and her longtime partner Johnny McDaid. And both couples are in couples outfits!

Jen and Courteney are wearing denim jackets. Jim and Johnny are in dark jackets. And there may have been other friends with them, it’s hard to tell from the photos who’s in their group and who isn’t. But the point is, we’re seeing Jim making the rounds with her inner circle. Courteney, of course, has been one of Jen’s best friends forever. She, Jason, and Amanda are very, very close. Next up… Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearney? Maybe Jim’s her guest at Jennifer Meyers’ upcoming wedding? Private dinner with Reese Witherspoon and her new billionaire BF?

As I said a couple of weeks ago, the way it’s playing out on the gossip pages, the rollout of this romance feels like baby steps. It’s been a slow and steady public progression which kinda feels refreshing in these times, as opposed to the celebrity love stories we see online with the TikTok generation where it goes from first meeting to basically inextricable in a matter of days…even though that same youth generation has already come up with a term for it: slow dating. And it’s currently a “trend”. Which means Jennifer Aniston is the trend’s most famous poster girl, the new star of Celebrity Slow Dating.
