Jennifer Lopez’s birthday is on Thursday and to celebrate she’s dropping a new song, “Birthday”, which she’s already been performing on tour. Here’s a link to her show in Budapest although, honestly, and I say this as a JLo fan, I swear… you might not want to open it because, well, the song is not good.

Twenty seconds of it is much more manageable, and you can get there here, if you really want to, from Instagram.

Again, I’m a fan. We are fans of JLo at LaineyGossip. But we also have ears and this … is not working. None of the new tracks that she’s dropped are working. But people are showing up for the past hits. The tour is selling well in Europe. And she is still a high level performer on stage, the woman is indefatigable. Also she looks incredible. So we’re still here with the JLo love, I’m just not bumping the new sh-t, sorry.

Here’s JLo arriving in Italy.

What else happened today…

I started Too Much this weekend and got up to and including episode three. I LOVE episode three. And I might be growing a big ass crush on Will Sharpe, although it’s early, by the end of it I might hate Felix. Still, as much as I’m into Felix, of course it’s Jessica played by Megan Stalter who’s the real star. And here she is in yet another hilarious and cute outfit on the weekend – a diet Coke corset over a mini skirt, she looks SO good. (Go Fug Yourself)

The Coldplay cheaters were still main characters through the weekend and there have been updates on employment status and fake accounts popping up everywhere with bogus press releases and even people claiming to be family members. Here’s Kayleigh Donaldson on why, hopefully, these people won’t be famous after this week, when another internet main character will emerge. (Pajiba)

Aside from cheaters, the other online conversation that’s been dominant on social media the last couple of weeks is the “Gen Z stare”. Have you been on the receiving end of it? Are you someone who has performed it? Darshita Goyal has written a really thoughtful piece on the privilege of the Gen Z stare and how not every Gen Z has the luxury of doing it. (Huffington Post)

Charli XCX got married in the most Charli XCX way ever – punk rock and so much more tasteful than that tacky Bezos spectacle a few weeks ago. She wore Vivienne Westwood, just like Demi Lovato. Except this time people weren’t trying to stir up silliness over who copied who or old beefs because, like, when you choose Westwood, that’s going to be the neckline! (W Magazine)

Looks like Cameron Diaz is very unretired because she’s making another movie, that’s two years, two movies! Cam is back! (Celebitchy)
