JLo: No spritz so Three Cheers!
I can’t think of any reason for Jennifer Lopez to have to get her hair done at a salon with open windows where the paps can take photos of her while her hair is being styled so I’m just going to assume that she’s doing this salon a solid and helping to promote them?
JLo is all about Kiss of the Spider Woman right now, and we all know, when she’s promoting something she goes hard. As Maria pointed out the other day, what she hasn’t been promoting is Delola. It’s been months and not just on her feed but on the official Delola IG account, the last post is from February. There hasn’t been any official reporting on the status of Delola but, obviously, this isn’t surprising considering that from the jump people were like, girl, you don’t drink, why are you launching a spritz?
Since we’re talking about spritzes and spirits though, let me put you onto a new book by Kaitlyn Stewart, the first Canadian ever to be crowned the World’s Bartending Champion. Her new book, Three Cheers comes out very soon. This is Kaitlyn’s love letter to cocktails, three ways and for everyone: classic, riffs, and zero-proof. She’s also super popular on TikTok:
@likeablecocktails HIP HIP HOORAY! Three Cheers for finally getting this book out there in the world! 165 Drink recipes for everyone and every mood! 55 Classics , 55 Riffs , 55 Zero-Proof Sips! Get your Preorders in! #cocktailbook #booktok #bookrelease #bartender #threecheers

I have had the pleasure, many times, of sipping Kaitlyn’s creations because, full disclosure, she is friend and family. Ironically, LOL, Kaitlyn loves JLo. But Kaitlyn does cocktails and mocktails way better than her fave. Click here for more about Three Cheers and to preorder!
What else happened today…
“What do you mean?” ranks among the greatest flexes and well before we even talked about flexing. He wasn’t flexing, he just wasn’t familiar. Of course he wasn’t familiar. It would have been impossible. (Pajiba)
I promised as many Robert Redford thinkpieces as possible yesterday and here’s one that I was waiting for – Brian Phillips on how “Robert Redford Created a New Type of Hollywood Star” (The Ringer)
And another – Mia Galuppo on how “Robert Redford’s Real Hollywood Legacy Is In Utah” (The Hollywood Reporter)
I have tried my best today to ignore coverage of the person who is in England today but since I work in a broadcast studio, I couldn’t avoid seeing the footage of protestors projecting an image of him with Jeffrey Epstein onto Windsor Castle and… well… it certainly did not ruin my day. (Celebitchy)
There’s a reason I don’t talk much about Louisa Jacobson’s style and it’s not because I don’t rate it, but because there is no rating for how f-cking steezy she is. Basically it’s jealousy. She can wear anything and everything she wears is the coolest sh-t you’ve ever seen.(Go Fug Yourself)
