Let’s start with the Jennifer who’s really getting married. Jennifer Lawrence will reportedly marry Cooke Maroney this weekend in Rhode Island. According to PEOPLE the wedding is happening at Belcourt of Newport, a chateau modelled after the hunting lodge at Versailles. They’re apparently expecting 150 guests and TMZ has all the details about the menu. I don’t give a sh-t about the menu. I want to know about the dress. Will it be Dior?
She’s contracted to Dior for work but that shouldn’t extend to her personal life…should it? Unless it’s publicised – that is, if it ends up in a magazine spread. Then there’s a case to be made for Dior. Probably Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior, right? We might never know. Jennifer Lawrence is not on Instagram (at least not publicly) and she’s not super thirsty for coverage, more in line with Zoe Kravitz’s wedding vibes than, say, Lea Michele. There, that’s my weekly mention that we’ve yet to see Zoe’s wedding dress. Will we ever? Will we see JLaw’s? Who are the celebrities invited to the wedding? Will Zoe be at the wedding? Hunger Games reunion?
I predict: Adele, Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper, Brie Larson, Amy Schumer, Derek Blasberg, and a Hunger Games reunion with Woody Harrelson and Josh Hutcherson but not Liam Hemsworth.
While it’s still uncertain if we’ll see JLaw’s dress, we will definitely see JLo’s when/if she marries Alex Rodriguez. They haven’t set a date but she’s currently working on a new rom-com, Marry Me, with Owen Wilson and last night she was seen shooting a scene in a wedding dress. The dress is whatever. But the veil! This veil is SO beautiful! Don’t love how the hair has been styled and the makeup seems dated but the veil! It want to get married again so I can rip off this veil.
