I don"t lose my sh*t over SJP as a "fashion icon", primarily because Patricia Field is the true fashion icon while SJP just wants really, really, really badly for you to *think* she"s one. But tonight in NYC, on the red carpet for A Chorus Line - I think this is the best, best, best I"ve ever seen her. Love the unkempt hair, love the jacket, love the 2 piece, love the shoes, and most of all, I love that she"s not pleading. You know how she pleads? Silently, telepathically, in that 40 year old baby voice - please, please, please pick me as best dressed, please pick me! But now that she"s not asking, I am totally buying…you know what I mean? Anyway, here"s Sarah Jessica Parker, clearly not pregnant and demonstrably not as youthful as Carrie... but better I think. Way better. All of a sudden, I like her so much. So much that she"s just come off the Fraud List, replaced by the demon of the century, the c-bomb of a generation, the one, the only…the Alba Bitch. How "bout that? Photo source
