Intro for October 2, 2025

Dear Gossips,   

One of my favourite things about Paris Fashion Week over the last few years is watching people lose their sh-t over the Korean celebrities in attendance. The snotty fashion elite may not be aware but the fans will always let them know. 

Yesterday at Tom Ford, there was a LOT of screaming over Ji Chang Wook. You don’t need to watch his dramas to understand why – look at him. He is stupidly attractive. 

JCW has a big international fanbase, almost 28 million followers on Instagram, and I get why they’re screaming so urgently. There was a time a few years ago when I thought about him too much for my own good. 

The most screaming in Paris yesterday, however, was for Jimin. WWD actually reported on this in an article titled, “Jimin Steals the Show at Dior”, noting that there were so many fans gathered outside the venue to see him that even other celebrities were asked about his presence and the crowd frenzy. Like Monica Barbaro who was sat next to Jimin and was apparently overwhelmed by all the photographers and flashbulbs going off because of the seating arrangement, lol.

Reading about it is one thing. Seeing and hearing it is another. So here’s a video that illustrates what it was like outside – basically a rock concert. 

This is not helping my anxiety. Every day on the group chat we are angsting about tickets for next year’s tour. All seven members of BTS have been consistently sharing updates on the new album. V posted a carousel the other day (third slide) from the studio and they look like they’re super hyped about one of their new songs. My only priority for 2026 is seeing BTS, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever realise this dream.
