Dear Gossips,

New York Fashion Week wrapped up last Tuesday and at the end of it, do you know which brand had the most media impact? Easily Calvin Klein. In fact, according to WWD, Calvin Klein had three times more media attention than the brand that came in second place, Michael Kors. And MK had a parade of celebrities in attendance - western celebrities, that is.

And CK pretty much did that with one: JK. Jung Kook, of BTS, was largely responsible for Calvin Klein’s surge, as his appearance at the show generated so much activity online, media analysts reported that, “BTS’s Jung Kook emerged as the supernova of NYFW, his endorsements eclipsing all others and tying directly into Calvin Klein’s dominance”.

So now it’s over to Milan and the highly anticipated Gucci presentation last night. This is Demna’s first collection for the house, even though a proper runway show won’t happen until February. Still, it was a huge priority for Gucci to kick off Demna’s stewardship with a mega event: the premiere of a short film directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn, starring Demi Moore leading an impressive cast of Hollywood stars. We’ll get to that later. Because it was Jin’s arrival that created the biggest splash:

That video is Vogue’s most-viewed post on their page from the Gucci event, and it’s not even close. No other star invited by Gucci came close to Jin in his white shirt, left open to almost his stomach. Please. Everybody else could have stayed home and the brand would have met its media impressions target. Not that you’ll hear about it much in the “English-speaking world”. I put those in quotes because those were the words uttered by that asshole in the White House last week when he was hosted by King Charles.

“…we must continue to stand for the values of the people of the English-speaking world,” is what he said. In New York City, though, the criminal president’s hometown, Jung Kook barely spoke a word of English on his trip and dominated fashion week. In Milan, Jin also didn’t have to speak much English as Gucci’s MVP. This is just one reason why the forces of oppression are panicking so much they’re resorting to more and more draconian tactics. BTS could easily draw a bigger crowd.

Yours in gossip and BORAHAE! (And if you don’t know what that means, it’s time for you to learn.)
