“In defense of a control freak Thanksgiving” – girl, I admire your grit, but it could never be me. In my family, we divide and conquer. Everyone has their specialty that they provide, some of us (read: the good cooks) get to bring a “taster” dish from recipes we want to try out. Every year, I’m on wassail duty, I make the sweet potato casserole and the throw rolls (rolls so big you can throw ’em!), and I contribute one dessert of my choice. This year, I’m baking an apple/cranberry pie. I really can’t wait to try that one. (Eater)
