Johnny Depp arrived in Tokyo today where hundreds of fans were waiting for him at the airport. They had signs and photos and some were moved to tears. Mostly the grown women. This is what I have a hard time understanding. Am not a particularly weepy person to begin with but still, I worship Meryl Streep and there was no crying involved when I heard her speak at the ROM. Maybe it’s because I’m Chinese.
As for Johnny in Japan, he was very gracious, took time for photos, and paid extra special attention to a girl in a wheelchair, before heading off to prepare for promotional events for Public Enemies.
I love it when he’s in Japan. Because the craziest videos always come out when he’s in Japan. Have you seen him with the children? I’ve posted this a few times but it’s worth watching again. First of all because he’s the sweetest but also, as previously mentioned, because it’s CRAZY.
