Johnny Depp performed with Marilyn Manson at the Revolver Golden God Awards last night in LA. What’s the connection, besides music?

One of their connections might be the West Memphis Three. Both Depp and Manson were among several celebrities actively lobbying for their release (which happened last year). Both are said to have contributed millions of dollars to the efforts maintaining their innocence and finally securing their freedom. Depp will also be producing a film about the story.
