Jon Hamm in Boston on the set of The Town today, directed by Ben Affleck. After this he’s supposed to be en route for Vancouver to work on Sucker Punch.

Now that I will scream for.

It’s been back to back to back to back busy for Jon this whole year. Between Mad Men and 30 Rock, Hamm has booked 3 films…and it’s not slowing down. So far he’s taken on supporting roles, very smart.

The strategy is to build to movie star status, to take over from George Clooney when his time passes. Blowing quick and hard with nothing left for the long haul won’t further that objective. This is, interestingly enough, what happened to Ben Affleck. Oh yeah, and Jennifer Lopez. Also, Ben can’t act.

Jon, obviously, doesn’t have this problem.
