Angelina Jolie said in the current issue of Vanity Fair that she and her father Jon Voight are speaking again but not rushing into a full blown reconciliation:

“We are going to try to get to know each other and maybe try not to be this daddy and daughter, but be there for each other as friends in the coming years.”

Last night at the Laker game, Jon showed up with her brother James Haven. We’re supposed to get past this but I can’t look at him without seeing his lips on hers. Maybe it’s just me. And is it just me or has James Haven butched it up lately?

Anyway, the father son bonding thing looks to be another sign the family is growing closer after years of estrangement. Shiloh brings people together.
