Dear Gossips,

Coachella has announced its 2026 lineup and it’s no surprise that Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G are two of the three headliners. Sabrina just released her new album and has been steadily touring for the better part of the last two years. Also it was at Coachella where she performed “Espresso” live for the first time in 2024 and never looked back.

As for Karol G, she’s coming off the release of Tropicoqueta in June and has been one of the world’s most streamed artists the last few years. If you haven’t already, or if you are not familiar with her global impact, you should watch her Netflix documentary, Tomorrow Was Beautiful. Karol G’s set in the desert will be major.

So that’s Friday and Sunday on the main stage at Coachella for two weekends in 2026. On the Saturday nights, it’s going to be Justin Bieber. JB has joined other artists on stage over the last three years but he hasn’t performed at a concert of his own since September 2022, when he cancelled the remaining shows on the Justice world tour.

JB has been candid about his struggles with touring over the course of his career – and he’s not the only mega popstar who doesn’t love the tour life. Miley Cyrus, for example, has spoken many times about how touring is not healthy for her. Miley has turned down previous invitations to headline at Coachella and leading up to this year’s announcement there was some speculation that it might finally be her time. JB has all kinds of new material now, and it appears he’s ready to take back his stage, in a limited capacity. He has always loved Coachella, he’s always there, and two weekends isn’t as big of a lift as a whole tour or a residency. And the money isn’t bad either. For an artist at JB’s level, the rumour is $10 million for both weekends. Plus, Coachella has become a marketplace. And now that Rhode has scaled up, there’s an opportunity for both Biebers to capitalise on a festival presence. In the caption of his IG post to confirm Coachella, he includes a lyric from “YUKON”, a song inspired by her, about her. Coachella 2026 could be big Bieber business.

Yours in gossip,
