Last night in Los Angeles, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio at the premiere of Revolutionary Road, their Oscar hopeful directed by Kate’s husband Sam Mendes, also nominated for a Golden Globe along with his two actors and also considered a good bet when the Academy makes its announcements on January 22nd. All three then were beaming on the carpet, and Kate of course, the new shiny blonde and bronzed Kate, the brightest of them all.

As for Leo, currently in between projects, it’s the telltale extra dough around his face, non? Creeps up so quickly in your 30s, especially if your lifestyle consists of carousing and drinking, which he still does. Sometimes too much. It can get in the way of performance.

By the way, Revolutionary Road currently sits at a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
