Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz reunite for Jonah Hill's new Apple TV film, Outcome

At a time when everything is outrageous and maddening, it’s a gift to be able to start the day with someone who only brings good vibes. Let’s set the mood with Keanu Reeves.

He was at Apple TV Press Day yesterday – basically their upfront but not an upfront because they don’t sell ads – where they’re promoting their upcoming schedule. Keanu stars in Jonah Hill’s new original film, Outcome, in which he plays “a beloved Hollywood star who must dive into the depths of his hidden demons after he is extorted with a mysterious video that’s sure to shatter his image and end his career. With the support of his lifelong friends Kyle (Diaz) and Xander (Bomer), along with his crisis lawyer Ira (Hill), Reef embarks on a soul-searching journey to make amends with anyone he could have possibly wronged in hopes of identifying the blackmailer”. Outcome is a dark comedy, it’s Keanu being funny and morally compromised all at once. The film premieres on Apple on April 10 which means Keanu will be on press tour soon, maybe he’ll even present at the Oscars.

And he won’t be alone because the “Diaz” who was just mentioned is none other than Cameron. So we have a 90s reunion. It’s been 30 years since Keanu and Cam starred together in Feeling Minnesota, and they talked on the carpet yesterday about what they remember from the experience.

Keanu works steadily but maintains a low profile. Cameron has maintained a low profile because she no longer, by choice, works as steadily but she has been on a return path over the last couple of years. She was in Back in Action last year with Jamie Foxx and, in addition to Outcome, she’s currently actively filming another project and will be back for the new Shrek movie next year. So we’ll be seeing more of Cameron in the near future, and definitely alongside Keanu over the next few weeks as they promote their movie.

Apple has yet to release a trailer for the movie but first look images were shared yesterday.
