Kelly Clarkson has added more Vegas dates, happening this month and summer of 2026. She is someone I would travel to see but Vegas is going through it right now. There are a lot of economic factors related to the downturn in visitors (including less Canadians traveling to the US and inflation) but the main issue is that Vegas corporations are boldly ripping people off at every turn.

 

To be adult Disneyland, you need to provide the illusion of being in rarified air to justify the markup. Instead, Vegas treats their customers like lemmings and insults them while they are doing it ($18 for a drip coffee is not anywhere reasonable, anywhere in the world). But Vegas has come out of slumps before and it will again, I just wonder where the rebrand will take it – family friendly? They tried that in the 1990s. 

 

PEOPLE Magazine is reporting that Dakota Johnson is dating again. Is this a trickle to soft launch someone new? Who are we Gossip Genie’ing Dakota Johnson with? 

 

Oh and there are some murmurs that Chris Martin is dating Sophie Turner, but we need to do our due diligence on this. If it is true, Chris certainly has a pattern. 

 

Sophie is 29, Dakota Johnson was around 28 when they started dating, Jennifer Lawrence was around 24, Gwyneth Paltrow was 30, and Annabelle Wallis was the outlier at 31. When Chris and Gwyneth got together he was 25 and now he’s 48, but his girlfriends have largely stayed in the same age range.

 

David Beckham is being knighted tomorrow and my guess is Brooklyn will break the no-contact to be there. Why this and not David’s 50th? Because a knighthood is historical, it’s not just a party.
